The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) decided over the weekend to change their health recommendations when treating for Covid-19, now officially viewing it on par with other respiratory diseases such as influenza, and reversing a handful of other policies.
This sudden change in policy roughly marks the four-year mark when Covid-19 was declared a pandemic by the WHO on March 11th, 2020.
